In September 2015, all 193 Member States of the United Nations adopted a plan for achieving a better future for all — laying out a path over the next 15 years to end extreme poverty, fight inequality and injustice, and protect our planet. At the heart of “Agenda 2030” are the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and provide a powerful aspiration for improving our world - laying out where we collectively need to go and how to get there.

Technology, science and capacity building are major pillars of the means of implementation of the goals and who can be better trusted with technology, than our young generation of netizens. It is rightly said that we did not inherit the earth from our ancestors; we borrowed it from our descendants. This platform is our endeavor to allow students to have a tryst with technology and find solutions to common global issues.

This event is organized in the hope of a better world. I urge everyone to participate wholeheartedly and make it a huge success.
